The clean fruitiness and complex savoury aromas stay present, all wrapped in a soft tannin structure, with a long fruit drawn finish.

Located in the heart of the Nelson Region, Motueka Winemakers is a family owned winery, who hold firmly the belief that the rich fertile soils surrounding the Motueka township, coupled with balmy sea breezes and some of New Zealand’s consistently highest sunshine readings are the ideal climate in which to craft their aromatic wines. Grapes from our vineyards in the nearby Moutere add a further dimension to our range of classic aromatic varieties.
The 2019 vintage produced beautifully ripe fruit which was destemmed and cold soaked for 5 days, then inoculated with selected yeast strains. Over two weeks the grapes were plunged 3 times a day in an open vat. After pressing, the wine was racked and underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine was aged for 6 months with French Oak, then filtered and bottled.
