The founders of the town of Kopparberg were originally drawn for its copper and gold reserves, however bubbling beneath the town was the unique, precious, low mineral soft water that turned around this little town’s fortune and put Kopparberg on the map! The same and only soft water we use to make Kopparberg today. It’s always been that way and it will always be that way, and that’s what makes it so special.

Every bottle is made and exported from the original Bryggeri by the people who work and live in the town of Kopparberg. 36 regional brewers founded the Bryggeri in 1882, and the brewery still stands on the original site where it was built over 130 years ago. Many generations of local families have worked for Kopparberg Brewery and to this day it remains the main employer for the town’s 4,000 people.

tasting notes: light and refreshing. Good apple notes with nice hints of caramelised apple and a natural brown sugar inflexion. Slightly dry on the finish with excellent low acidity for balance.
