Stoli® Vodka from Gluten Free Ingredients is made using the finest gluten free corn and buckwheat grown in the Tambov Region of Russia, known for its fertile soil. Distilled at the state-of-the-art distillery Talvis, the distillate then travels to the historic Latvijas Balsams in Riga to undergo the final stages before becoming a vodka – filtration and blending. Using traditional production techniques and high quality gluten free ingredients, the result is a perfectly clean, crisp and smooth Vodka, proudly presented by Stolichnaya.
WHAT IS GLUTEN?
Gluten (from Latin gluten, “glue”) is a mixture of proteins found in wheat and related grains, including barley and rye. Gluten is most commonly found in breads, cereals, snack foods, pastas, and salad dressings. Gluten causes health problems for sufferers of gluten-related disorders, including celiac disease (CD) which impacts 1–2 % of the population (celiac.org 2014).
