Premium Shiraz, Malbec and Petit Verdot grapes from our own organic vineyards were crushed and fermented on skins to extract the vibrant colour and flavour of these varieties.
Extended barrel ageing preceded the second fermentation in bottle where the wine spent 4 years on yeast lees prior to disgorging and bottling.
So here’s the thing: shiraz and malbec have been real busy. Forever friends, now festively fizzy. Cinnamon spice and all things nice, gooey-oozy blackberry tart; oh be still my beating heart! The finish? Clean. Like a mean good-bye to your mother-in-law (she can keep her damn coleslaw).
